Tickaboo is a reminder app where a plan like “meet at 9 PM” doesn’t stay a text message. It rings a loud, full-screen alarm on your phone and on your friend’s phone, at exactly the time you picked. Plan a bigger get-together as an event, and your friends RSVP in a tap.

You set it
Type what’s happening, pick friends from your contacts, choose the day and time, and how early to ring.

It reaches your friend
Your friend gets a notification straight away: “Nithin added you to a reminder”. Their phone quietly sets the same alarm.

Daily and weekly reminders New
Take a tablet at 5 PM every day, or go to the gym every Sunday. Set it once, choose Daily or Weekly, and it rings at that time until you stop it.
Events with RSVP New
Plan a birthday, a trip or match night as an event. Pick the date and time, add friends, and add a place and notes if you like. Everyone gets an invite, taps Going, Maybe or Can’t go, and you see who’s coming in real time.
On the day, guests get a heads-up in the morning and another one hour before it starts. Change the time and everyone’s notes move with it.

Just-for-you reminders
“Call Mom at 6:30.” Pick the day and time, then choose to ring on time or 5, 15 or 60 minutes early.
Loud when it matters
A full-screen alarm with its own ringtone, plus Snooze and Done right in the notification bar. If the app is open, it rings on the home screen.
Sign up in a minute
No passwords. Enter your mobile number and email, tap the sign-in link we email you, add your name and a photo, and you’re in.
Your crew, found for you
Tickaboo checks your contacts and shows which friends are already on the app. Invite the rest with one tap.
Drop the meet-up spot
Type where you’re meeting. When the alarm rings, one tap opens that place in Maps.
Edit, then tick it off
Change a reminder any time before it rings. Once it’s done, it moves to the Done tab so your list stays clean.
Replies without typing
Tap “On my way” from the ringing screen and everyone else on the reminder gets a notification. If a plan is cancelled, they hear about that too.

What Tickaboo asks for, and why.
Tickaboo asks for just three things, and never your location. You can turn any of them off in your phone’s settings.
Contacts
To show which friends already use Tickaboo, so you can add them to a reminder.
We never message your contacts without you tapping Invite.
Photos
To pick a profile picture from your gallery.
Only the one photo you choose is uploaded.
Alarms & notifications
To ring on time, full-screen, even when your phone is locked.
Used only for your reminders and friend updates.

Ringlet Labs builds small, friendly apps that help people keep their plans. A ringlet is a small ring, and our first app is about exactly that: a little ring, at the right moment, for you and the people you’re meeting.
Tickaboo is our first product. It’s built in India, for Android first.

Questions
Good to know.
Does my friend need Tickaboo too?
Yes. To ring on their phone, your friend needs the app. Tickaboo shows which contacts already have it, and you can invite anyone else by SMS from the Crew screen.
Will it ring if my phone is locked or the app is closed?
Yes. Tickaboo schedules a real alarm on the phone, so it rings full-screen on the lock screen with its own tone. On some phones (Xiaomi, Honor, Oppo, Vivo) you may need to allow Tickaboo to run in the background and allow its sound in notification settings.
Can I change a reminder after I set it?
Yes, any time before it rings. Tap the reminder and choose Edit. For shared reminders, everyone’s alarm moves to the new time.
What happens when I tap Done?
The alarm stops and the reminder moves to your Done tab. Your friends’ reminders stay active until they tick them off too.
How do events work?
Tap + and choose Event. Add a title, date, time, friends, and a place or notes if you like, then tap Send invites. Friends get a notification and answer Going, Maybe or Can’t go, and the host is told each time someone replies. On the day, everyone who hasn’t said no gets a note in the morning and one hour before.
Can I set a reminder that repeats every day?
Yes. When you create a reminder, choose Daily or Weekly under Repeat. Tapping Done stops today’s ring and keeps the reminder for next time. To stop it for good, tap the reminder and choose Stop repeating.
Is it free?
Yes, Tickaboo is free during the beta.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Tickaboo launches on Android first, and iPhone is on our roadmap.
